Leon ‘Dj Hella Yella’ O’Neal is a multiple award winning club/tour/mixtape dj, & a notable member of the world-renown Core DJs. During SXSW 2011, Dimplez, Eleven8, and Hella Yella developed the idea for a trilogy of events catered entirely for their demographic of music aficionados. Spurn from their mutual love of music, respect for the dj, travails as media, and previous SXSW experiences, they created: “Unrefined Hype: Extended Play Showcase”, ”BBMs & Brewsters: The V.I.P. Gifting Suite”, and “Juice: The DJ’s Official Showcase”.
